Our Predictions: Patna Pirates 57:41 Bengal Warriors

Patna Pirates finished unbeaten in the first leg of Pro Kabaddi League Season 4 with a thumping 35-21 win over Bengal Warriors at Patna. They reach top of the table with 25 points while Bengal Warriors were left consigned to last place with seven points.

Patna Pirates continued their unbeaten streak with an easy win over the underperforming Bengal Warriors.
Nitin Madane was the lone warrior for the Warriors as he won 7 points while Pardeep Narwal, with 10 points, and Dharmaraj Cheralathan with 9(4 super tackles) shone for the Patna Pirates.

Pardeep got the game underway with a successful raid, but Bengal Warriors retaliated with 2 unanswered points.
Pardeep, however, had other ideas as he conjured 4 points in 3 raids to restore parity in the 7th minute.

Having come to the match knowing fully well that they were short on ammunition the Bengal warriors were in trouble as early as the eleventh minute conceding the all-out .

It was Pardeep’s guile versus the Bengal Warriors defense and every time he came up triumphant in the first 15 minutes. As the Patna Pirates defense too started hacking the rival raiders one after the other the crowd was stunned and so was Bengal Warriors. They didn’t realize what exactly hit them.
The match was almost over in the first half itself. Bengal Warriors seemed to have found out a way for a brief while as Nilesh and Vishal came up with three good tackles to arrest the top three from Patna Pirates,Rajesh Mondal, Pardeep Narwal and Abolfazel in a row. That act was responsible for the only near all-out situation Bengal Warriors could inflict. But three successful super tackles by Dharmaraj Cheralathan helped them back to lead and eventually the win with a 14 point margin.
