Match 46 of the Pro Kabaddi League Season 4 saw Jaipur Pink Panthers take on defending champions Patna Pirates at Mumbai. The match ended 29-22 in the favor of the Jaipur Pink Panthers, who started their campaign with a win in a low-scoring encounter.
Jasvir opened the proceedings with a successful raid while Pardeep was unable to return to his half as the Jaipur Pink Panthers made it 2-0 inside the opening minute. The visitors came roaring back by levelling in the 4th minute when Surjeet won a point in his attack.
Till the 10th minute, both the teams exchanged blows and the scorecard read Jaipur Pink Panthers 5-5 Patna Pirates. Rajesh was tackled in the next raid as their team trailed by 3 points with 4 minutes to go in the first half.

The Patna Pirates’ revival started when Rajesh Narwal was taken down in a tackle, after which Surjeet won 2 points in his raid to give the team the lead. Pardeep Narwal conjured up the raid of the match Despite trailing by 8 points, Pirates managed to make it a 6-point game as the game reached the halfway stage with Patna Pirates leading 17-11.
The start of the 2nd half saw both Rajesh and Pardeep getting out in their respective raids. In the 26th minute, Patna were all out. Amit Hooda led his defensive unit from the front and was successful in blunting the Patna Pirates attackers especially Pardeep.
The second half started in the same way as the first with both teams swapping points for the first 8 minutes. At the 28-minute mark, it was Jaipur with most of the points.
However, buoyed by the vociferous crowd at the National Sports Club of India, the Patna Pirates held firm and closed the game at 29-22. They salvaged a point from the match which would prove to be very crucial in the league standings and their semifinal position.
