Dabang Delhi suffered an 8 point loss vs Bengal Warriors in their first match at the Dome@NSCI Stadium. The match started on a sour note for Dabang Delhi as Kashiling Adake was ineffective in his raids as the Bengal Warriors won a tight match until the last 8 minutes where Ravi Dalal took it away from Delhi.
Nitin Madane opened the proceedings with a successful raid while Deepak Narwal was unable to return to his half as the Bengal Warriors made it 2-0 inside the opening 4 minutes. The visitors came roaring back by leveling in the 4th minute when Meraj Sheykh won a point in his attack.
Meraj Sheykh scored a couple of points in a rather ambitious raid, while saving the team from an all out.

The home team reduced their deficit to just 2 points with a minute to go in the half, but Ravi Dalal was having none of it. The young raider reduced the team from Delhi to 4 men, before inflicting an all out on them with a superb raid right before the buzzer sounded.

The first all-out was inflicted in the 18th minute, while the second came when the score was 28-23. Both the all-outs were inflicted by Ravi Dalal and Nitin Madane proving all-round credentials.

Girish who had 3 tackle points, teamed up so well with Nilesh (4 tackles) that the fate of the match was decided. From a slender 15-14 advantage in the 31st minute they went up 20-15. Nitin got rid of the dangerous Meraj sheikh and Suresh kumar.

It was a stupendous one man effort from Meraj Sheykh to keep the team close to the Bengal total but he had little support from his team mates which led Delhi to suffer their first defeat of Prokabaddi Season 4.
