Ring side view: Dabang Delhi vs Puneri Paltan In Mumbai : 27-27 ( MATCH TIED )

Meraj Sheykh’s last raid of the match where he was caught by Manjeet Chillar fetched Puneri Paltan a point and an honorable draw against Dabang Delhi K.C. The tie takes their tally to 14 points while that of the Delhi becomes 3 points as they open their account in Season 4.
The hosts Puneri Paltan were down 5 points in the beginning. However, it was the visitors who took 3 straight points through their raider Deepak Narwal and Meraj Sheykh  to give them a 5-1 lead in the early stages.

The Puneri Paltan remain in first place with 14 points and the Dabang Delhi with 3 points remain in sixth place.


Puneri Paltan’ skipper Manjeet Chillar made it a 6-point game. A series of brilliant tackles from Sachin Shingade of Dabang Delhi gave the visiting side some breathing space with few minutes left in the first half.

Deepak Niwas Hudda got a raid point to reduce the deficit  along with the Puneri Paltan captain Manjeet Chillar and  Sonu Narwal who continued to get touch points to end the first half 15-13 in favor of the home side.
The applied pressure from the visitors began to weaken the home side. Eventually, Puneri Paltan suffered their 1st all-out of the match to make it a 1 point game with 14 minutes left to play in the second half.

Deepak Niwas hooda with two crucial raids  was responsible for doing damage after the break. As things looked to even out, Deepak Narwal came up with a super raid that gave him three points and gave Delhi the lead

Both the teams made a cautious end to the game as the scores were leveled by Pune with seconds left on the clock.

Manjeet Chillar made a solid bear hug on Meraj Sheykh on a do or die raid to give the home side a tie and 3 valuable points. With this Puneri Paltan managed to claw back from defeat to hold a resurgent Dabang Delhi in a match that would have gone either way.. With this tie the teams earned three points each from the match.
