Thailand break scoring record in 69-22 win over Kenya



Skipper and RAIDER Khomsan Thongkham, Khunakon Chanjaroen and Chanwit Wichian scripted an easy 69-22 win for Thailand against USA in Kabaddi World Cup 2016 at The Arena by TransStadia in Ahmedabad on Sunday. With their three win in four outings and a tally of 15 points the Thailand side have more or less booked a semis berth. The Thailand side picked up twenty points in a row and the scoreline read 22-2 at 14th minute. Thanks to a Khomsan Thongkham raid, who scored 14 points in total, and some coordinated defending, the Thailand skittled out the USA side. So dominating were the winners that they inflicted ten all-outs. The win was achieved as a result of good team work. This came despite their consistent player Bismarck Charles scored 9 points. Thailand is placed second with 15 points in the Kabaddi World Cup 2016. USA is placed sixth with 0 points.
