The England roared aloud as their star all-rounder Tope Adewalure turned in the best individual performance of the season to help inflict upon Australia, a crushing defeat with the final scoreline of 69-25. The first three points of the game were picked up by England, who were desperate for a good start. But it was as good as it got for the England in the first half as the England then took three in a row, with Tope scoring a super raid in his very second effort. In just the 4th minute, the Australia side were all out as the scoreline read 9-1. The England widened the margin to 33-8 in the 17th minute, after which three successful raids from each team made it 40-13. Another all out was to ensue in the 36th minute. Tope became the super raider for England for his outstanding performance. He bagged the best raider of the match award.
